Nick ‘The Ox’ Okoth
Nick’s love of boxing started at a young age. He boxed as an amateur in the British Army Boxing Team for 8 years, where he had many successes. He became the Army Champion, Combined Services Champion and had 58 bouts in his amateur career. After he left the Army, he turned professional; boxing from super-middle to cruiserweight, Nick had a fantastic experience. Highlights of his professional career include becoming a Prizefighter finalist, narrowly losing to the winner Jon-Lewis Dickinson and fighting for the British Masters Title in 2013.
Nick has been able to travel the world with his boxing and meet some incredible people. He also trained as a coach whilst in the Army and trained his sub-unit to win the Regimental Championship in 2002.
Since retiring from from Professional fighting, Nick has coached extensively. He has coached hundreds of children through the Boxwise Charity Programme and has also trained professional and amateur boxers on a 121 in various gyms around London.
